About the Book
The problem which this book addresses and the objective to which it is committed is to develop a conceptual framework for theological contextualization with special reference to the Hispanic American socio-cultural context. To provide a foundation for this task this book will analyze the concept, and current models of theological contextualization in Roman Catholic, Protestant Ecumenical, and Protestant Evangelical circles. It is hoped that this research might help Hispanic Americans to deal with the challenges of their socio-cultural and religious pilgrimage and might stimulate an interest in additional work on the long neglected and vitally needed area of theological reflection in the Hispanic American context.
